We finally shot Tanner's 2011 Senior pictures! :)

And just in time for him to venture off to college last weekend.

Every session is an adventure but this one was...well...kind of like a hunting trip - but I am no huntress! No camo and ammo for this chick. I only shoot with cameras.

We met at Pioneer Village and planned on trekking to one of my favorite Caesar Creek locations. Upon entering the drive that leads back to this spot, we encountered a freshly killed, large deer right in the middle of the road! I try not to sweat (or at least let it show), but I think we were all squeamish. If it weren't for a truck coming our way and proving he could pass by the deer without nipping it's body, I would have opted to shoot plan B,  which I didn't have.

So, one beautiful day and one really icky, gross, dead deer later, we shot Tanner's senior pictures. Thanks for bringing the good luck, Tanner! I know your college experience will be full of adventures! ;)
